Job Description
We are pleased to partner with our client, a growing AIFM in Luxembourg, which seeks an experienced Valuation Manager to oversee the execution of the valuation process for fund strategies.
The AIFM provides a well-structured and professional working environment with a commitment to excellence. Responsibilities include:
• Review investment valuation analysis, query anomalies and investigate appropriately
• Assess investment committee memorandums
• Build a relationship with third party valuers, ensuring suitable due diligence
• Review internal valuation material
• Consider fund onboarding activities through a valuation lens
• Ensure Board meetings and management meetings have relevant reporting materials
• Consider existing valuation processes and frameworks, identify areas for improvement or amendments through up to date knowledge of the market and regulatory implications
• Propose and drive through change and agreed recommendations that will have a positive impact of the valuation team
